Pipe Department Foreman Tom Maloney in front of No. 1 water well, circa 1919; This area was behind the present MBA building (1968). One of the early barracks buildings is shown in background on right. A boiler is off to the left and steam pump is on the other side of the rig platform. Note wooden tank were used for both oil and water. Man in picture is Tom Maloney, first Pipe Department Foreman.
