This photo was taken around 1918 near the current area of Lee Heights not far from Busch’s Landing. The boys in the wagon are hauling a movie poster and film canisters that was picked up at the landing and are taking it to the Cozy theater in Pelly. The movie poster is for a paramount movie called the “Kaisers Finish”. The purpose of the Klansman in the picture is unknown, but they often acted as vigilantes in the area. In the background are two young girls. The taller girl is Darryl Jones's maternal grandmother Lee Ola Sparks-Porter-Shumake-Cockerham. The younger girl is her sister and Mr. Jones's Great Aunt Opal Sparks-Epperson.
