Aerial view of Baytown Refinery, 1923; Photo was taken looking east. Humble Street runs through the center. On right looking east in foreground are Burton Hi-Pressure stills Battery H & I (added later). Battery A & B and Filter House. Battery P & R (added later) 1 & 2 Boilerhouse Compound and Ice Plant are on the left side in foreground. On left side of Houston Street running from upper left corner are No. 1 Power Plant warehouse Labor Office four-stills on old Battery W and Old Corral. Open area beyond last street in upper area is 65 acre tract bought in mid-30s on which MEK and Lube Plants are now located (1968).
