Aerial view of Baytown Refinery, 1924; In foreground, center, is Acid Plant and lube agitators. Mechanical shops are left on Baytown Avenue. Left to right: Tin & Blacksmith Shop, Boilermaker Shop, Bicycle Shop & tool room; Carpenter shop; machine shop; warehouse; and Compound Building. Long building in far upper right is Old Corral and to this side is crude still Battery W. In center of photo is Filterhouse; No. 1 power plant; and No. 1 & 2 boilerhouse. Barely visible in smog is Battery A & B and behind it is Battery H & I. Just beyond gas holder is Battery P. On extreme right center is Burton hi-pressure stills."
