Rucker Ellisor, son of Ed D. Ellisor (born 1838) and grandson of Cedar Bayou pioneer Elijha Ellisor, pictured in front of the house in which he was born. Ellisor worked at Humble Oil and Refining in 1919 in the rigging department and transferred to the docks in 1923 until his retirement in 1947.
