San Jacinto Inn postcard. Sketch of original seafood restaurant landmark located near the San Jacinto Battleground. It opened in 1919 and weathered several hurricanes before closing. It was known for its "all you can eat" menu and family style dining. Photo circa 1950's.

Reverse reads: Nationally famous for its seafood and chicken dinners. Near San Jacinto Monument, only 30 minutes from downtown Houston. Take the Gulf Freeway to Pasadena cut-off, and drive out La Porte Rd. to San Jacinto Battleground Rd. Open 6 P.M. week day s- 1 P.M. Sundays – Closed Mondays. Phone Greenwood 9-2828.
