The all girl Tipica Orquestra; In the late '30s and early '40s they were known as Tipica Orquesta Mexicana . Tipica was the only all-girl Mexican orchestra in the United States -- 30 members strong. It was founded by Dr. Antonio Bañuelos when he came to Baytown in the late 1930s.
