Busch landing at Old Goose Creek; Bush Landing on Goose Creek Stream, showing Goose Creek oil field, circa 1916. Boats at the landing were used to haul oil field equipment and supplies. Families also used their boats to bring food and furnishings from Houston or had them brought in by regular work boats. Homes in center on bluff area where people lived during the boom. The house left center is still standing on what is now (1967) referred to as Gulf Hill, across West Main St. from Duke's Hill. Name in bottom right is F. G. Allen
