Engine number 895 moving to Roseland Park; Old 895 Goes to Park. In the spring of 1957, Southern Pacific Railroad gave the city an old steam engine for permanent display in Roseland Park. The locomotive was moved from the railroad station at Texas and Commerce, shown at left, down East Texas Avenue to the par, using three 90-foot sections of track. In the photograph, the locomotive is crossing South Main.
