Annie Sjolander Scott, circa 1970; Annie Sjolander Scott models the hat worn by her grandmother Margaret Sjolander when she arrived in Galveston. The small brimmed hat is shirred ribbon of finest black silk. A fan-shaped pleat and a wispy feather decorate the front. The hat came from Sweden in 1878.
